WAI ART SHOW, formally known as ‘The Big Wai Art Sale’, is an annual exhibition held in September at the Carterton Event Centre in Holloway Street. The show exhibits a diverse range of 2D and 3D artworks from local artists and crafts people from across New Zealand over the 3-day event. The show attracts over 3,000 visitors and coincides with the Carterton Daffodil Day. It’s a cash-and-carry sale, with the opportunity for artists to replace their work as pieces sell.
